A multinational company in the engineering, architecture and environmental consulting industry is looking for a high-caliber professional to join their organization as a Principal Generation Electrical Engineer.

Job Overview:
• Supports all design and studies of the Generation Team (Thermal Generation, Hydro and Renewable Energies);
• Develops relationships with clients, communicate with the design team and stakeholders;
• Be a team player and work with other engineers and drafters;
• Participate in team business plan and strategic direction of the team;
• Develops concept design, works with the team to finalize detail designs;
• Be at the forefront of quality, checking and mentoring junior staff;
• Develops studies for:
-From concepts like Single Line Diagrams, to detail engineering where required;
-Size and Select equipment for LV, HV, control systems and cables;
-Control System and System integration;
-SCADA specification;
Select the best adapted technology for the type of project;
-Experience with project development and cost estimates;
-Develop EPC contract requirements and specifications;
• Participate in Business Development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Degree qualified, preferably a registered Electrical Engineer;
• With a minimum of 15 years experience in design/development activities;
• Hands on design experience with various types of electrical systems in power generation;
• Experience with project development, feasibility and cost estimation, and detail designs;
• Have worked in both greenfield and brownfield projects;
• Experience with financial forecasting would be an advantage;
• Report writing skills;
• Experience with proposal development would be an advantage;
• Competence with International Standards;
• Able to travel from time to time;
• Eligible to work in the Philippines.

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering;
• Registered/licensed engineering status preferred;
• With minimum of 15 years experience in design/development activities;
• Hands on design experience with various type of mini hydro/large hydro;
• Experience with project development, feasibility and cost estimation, and detail designs;
• Experience with financial forecasting would be an advantage;
• Report writing skills;
