Magellan adds third drill rig at Coringa project and identifies new mineralized zone 5km south of Meio zone

Magellan Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V: MNM) is pleased to report that it has added a third diamond drill rig at the Coringa project in Brazil and has discovered a new mineralized zone called Filao da Porteira which is located approximately 5km south-east of the Meio zone.

Drilling is currently in progress at Coringa on the recently identified Valdette and Demetrio structures with initial drill results expected within the next two weeks. The third rig will initially target the Come Quieto zone which is not part of the current resource and is located 2km south of Meio. Surface sampling at Come Quieto previously returned several values above 5g/t gold including two samples of 71.2 g/t and 306.0g/t gold For the full release click here.
